Road Closures / Road Work: Laflamme Road is closed from the Tomifobia River to Laperle Road during the winter season

Culverts: Residents must cover the cost of the culvert at the entrance to their property, but installation is carried out by the municipality. A structure serving as a small bridge, consisting of at least one transverse pipe, usually made of concrete or metal, that is covered with gravel or other materials, allowing runoff water to flow under a road, railway, or other structure. Property owners are responsible for maintaining the entrance culverts located along their property line. In the spring, culverts must be cleared of any obstruction to allow the free flow of water from melting snow. Poor maintenance can cause residential flooding and serious damage to roads.

Snow Removal: It is strictly forbidden to push snow onto public roads. The Municipality, together with the SQ, issues warnings and even fines to individuals who push snow onto the road. Once hardened, these snow piles can withstand even snow removal trucks and are very dangerous. We therefore ask that you instruct your contractor to push snow onto your property to ensure the safety of those traveling on your road.
